Internships at companies: what do they involve?

External work internships are training activities undertaken by students and supervised by department-assigned lecturers. The aim of these internships is to enable students to apply and supplement the knowledge that they have acquired during their studies by providing skills that prepare them for professional work and boost their employability. In order to pass the External Internships subject, students may choose to undertake curricular or extracurricular internships, or request accreditation of their work experience.
