About the Speaker:

Vicente Esteve is a Professor of Economics at the University of Valencia with an extensive research background in international finance, applied macroeconometrics, cliometrics, and macroeconomic aspects of public finance. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Valencia in 1992 and has been a visiting researcher at institutions such as the University of Montreal and the Foundation for Applied Economic Studies (FEDEA).

He has directed various chairs in International Economics and Finance and has served as an evaluator and advisor for institutions such as the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Universities and the Government of Canada. His research has been published in prestigious academic journals such as Journal of Macroeconomics, Economic Letters, Journal of Policy Modeling, and Economic Modelling, among others.
