I can't enrol on second-year subjects as I have not passed 50% of first year. I can't enrol on third year courses since I have not passed 70% of first and second year. What should I do?

If you started your course before the 2014-14 academic year and need 6 to 12 credits, you can ask the dean for permission to enrol on up to 18 credits per semester of the year immediately above (art. 45.6 in the Academic Regulations).

If you started your course from the 2013-14 academic year, the new regulations in the FOU (official gazette) apply: undergraduate students must enrol on all subjects still to be passed from previous academic years before being able to enrol on a subject from a higher year, except for elective subjects, as long as they have approval from the dean or head of degree.

If you are in the first group, you may follow the new regulations if you make a formal request to the Pro-Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs on the proviso that, once requested, these regulations will apply from that time onwards for all purposes and not only regarding this specific issue.
